Demo Setup

Demo Store Placement

In Store Demo placement is pre-determined by the Demo Team; however, on-site adjustments should be coordinated with Store Management to align with current merchandising priorities and floor conditions.

Demo Layout

The demonstration table is strategically organized into three functional zones to maximize sensory appeal and consumer conversion. At the rear of the table, the Cooking Zone. Also at the rear is the Engagement Zone serves as the primary hand-off point, where bite-sized samples are presented. At the front is the Marketing & Acquisition Zone, featuring Prices and a "Hero" display of the retail packaging. To ensure an immediate sale, a cooler is positioned at side of the table, allowing customers to move directly from tasting the sample to placing an item into their shopping cart.

Our In Store Products

Perform a visual site audit by capturing photos of PFC inventory and current price tags. Assemble a product sample kit featuring high-velocity and discounted SKUs to facilitate in-person demonstrations of our full on-shelf lineup.

Competitor Products

Take pictures of competitor SKUs alongside their respective retail price  and any active promotional signage to benchmark Pampanga Food Company’s value proposition against current market alternatives. By recording these data points, the sales team can conduct an effective price-point analysis and identify opportunities to negotiate superior shelf "real estate" or adjust regional pricing strategies based on the current market landscape.   Email images to demo@pampangafood.com.

Marketing / Communicating To Customers

1. The Hook: Engagement Before the Taste

You must interrupt the shopper’s "autopilot" mode without being aggressive.

  • The Scent as a Siren:  The aroma is your most effective communication tool.

The Non-Question Opening: Avoid asking, "Would you like a sample?" (It's too easy to say "no"). Instead, use a statement: "Good morning! We are featuring authentic Kapampangan Pork Belly today—it’s sweet, savory, and ready in minutes."

  • Eye Contact & Proximity: Stand in front of or to the side of the table, not behind it. This removes the "barrier" between you and the customer.

2. The Communication: Selling the Story (The "Taste" Phase)

Once the customer has a sample in their hand, you have a 30-second window to communicate the brand value.

  • The Flavor Profile: Describe the taste as they chew. "Notice the caramelization on the edges; that’s the traditional sugar and spice marinade we use in the Philippines."
  • Highlight Convenience: Modern shoppers are busy. Emphasize that it is pre-marinated and pre-sliced. "This takes just 5-8 minutes in a pan—no prep work required."
  • Suggest a Meal, Not Just a Meat: Move from the product to a solution. "This is perfect for a traditional Silog breakfast with garlic rice and an egg, or you can even use it for fusion tacos."

3. The Close: Converting Taste to Transaction

The goal is to move the product from your cooler into their cart before they walk away.

  • Physical Hand-off: As they finish their sample, pick up a cold retail pack from the cooler and hold it out. People are socially conditioned to take what is handed to them.
  • The "Scarcity" or "Incentive" Close: Offer the weekend only price. "2 packs for $10 if you’d like to take them home today. We’re actually moving through these very quickly this morning!"
  • Direct to Product: If they hesitate, point to the items. "I have the original and the sweet flavors right here in the cooler so you don't have to walk back to the freezer section."
